Introduction
Beacon of Light Residential Treatment Center is a private agency that strives to positively impact the lives disadvantaged youth and their families. Beacon of Light was established in December 2022 with the sole purpose of providing community-based programming to youth and supportive services for youth placed in Child Protective Services.
Mission
The Purpose of Beacon of Light Residential Treatment Center is to provide a safe, stable and nurturing environment that promotes healing of past trauma and preparation of future goals and success to all foster children who are placed with Beacon of Light RTC.
Philosophy
Our program provides an interdisciplinary team of experts who collaborate with clients to assist with identifying and reaching treatment goals. Our program is group and individually focused, so clients can draw from input from staff, peers and the treatment milieu as they regain stability and prepare to return to their homes or a community-based program.
The program also offers a continuum of services to help children, adults and families reach their emotional, mental and physical well-being through a continuum of care. We believe each person deserves supportive, respectful, integrated care that is person-centered, and trauma informed. We tailor services to meet individual needs and achieve recovery. We believe all individuals have the ability to improve and change their lives and treatment plans should be client driven. We develop and enhance our services based on outcomes as well as client and supported staff input.
Our staff is here to partner with you to reach your independent treatment goals. We believe every individual can find their path to redemption and we are here to offer guidance. At the same time, we can draw on the strengths and values that the client brings to their treatment goals. We want to help them draw on the support system they have to enhance their redemption.
